REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR

GENERAL COUNSEL LEGAL SERVICES                                                                                   

 

The Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Utica, New York ((hereinafter, “UMHA”) – People First, d/b/a – invites proposals from qualified attorneys and /or law firms licensed to practice in the State of New York to provide general legal counsel services.  Applicants should have knowledge of United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Public Housing and Section 8 Programs as well as New York State Homes and Community Renewal regulations.  The selected firm must be knowledgeable about the statutes and regulations that govern the UMHA, landlord and tenant law, real estate development, construction law and court cases, construction practices, litigation, claims, personnel, and insurance.  Interested applicants should use the following link to download and respond to the Request for Proposal:  https://ha.internationaleprocurement.com/requests.html?company_id=15743   You may only apply for  this RFP through the Housing Agency Marketplace.  Please see the RFP checklist for a detailed list of items to submit.  You must submit your attachments via the housing agency marketplace.  We will not accept paper applications.
