Office Assistant ll, works under moderate supervision and grasps office management procedures.

As an Office Assistant ll, oversees clerical tasks such as sorting and sending out mail, keeping an inventory of office supplies, and ordering new materials as needed. Needs to create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information, and working knowledge of office equipment.

Under the direction of a supervisor, performs multiple responsible and technical clerical duties requiring knowledge and independent judgment involving frequent and responsible public contact; provides for proper input and output of data.

Excellent organization and time management skills analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional duties and responsibilities include:

Using “back office” computer systems, create and update records ensuring accuracy, schedule and plan meetings and appointments, and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

Screen calls and responds to routine inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondences.
