Two Day Training Session – Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodations Training with Jaime Cain
We are excited to host our Spring Conference at Turning Stone Resort Casino, April 19 and 20, 2023. The conference will kick off with a two-day training on Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodations with Jaime Cane, April 17 and 18. Housing Authorities are now required to train their staff in Fair Housing. This is a great way to meet that requirement and receive a top-notch training. The conference will feature tracks that include Public Housing Management, Section 8, and trainings specifically for Commissioners. Attendees will receive an update on what’s happening in Washington with Congress, HUD updates, and news from Albany. This conference is geared for anyone in the affordable housing industry and is the premiere conference for housing professionals in the Northeast.
Registration fee includes all materials, attendance to all sessions, continental breakfasts, luncheon, and reception.
Cancellation prior to March 15, 2023 will receive a full refund. Cancellations after March 15, 2023 will be subject to a 40% administrative fee.

NYSPHADA’s 2022 Fall Conference will take place October 5 and 6 at the Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel. The conference will feature tracks that include (i) Public Housing Management, Finance, and Occupancy; (ii) Maintenance Operations; and (iii) Trainings specifically for Commissioners. Attendees will receive pertinent information on ERAP; Evictions, HUD Funding, and Commissioners Responsibilities. This conference is geared for anyone in the affordable housing space and is the premiere conference for housing professionals in New York State.

Our 2018 Fall Conference will be devoted exclusively to the increasingly complex legal and practical issues that Public Housing Authorities face in dealing with their employees and the labor unions that represent their employees. Public Housing Authorities need to know the proactive steps they can take and the pitfalls they need to avoid in order to minimize the risk of liability associated with their human resource decisions. Mindful of this need, we have developed a full-day agenda covering a range of important topics to help Public Housing Authorities comply with labor and employment laws and regulations. All sessions will be presented by Labor and Employment attorneys from Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC.
This one-day Conference is a HUD approved expense.
