Executive Director
Monticello Housing Authority (MHA) – Monticello, NY
The Monticello Housing Authority seeks an Executive Director to provide leadership and management of its Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) programs. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Commissioners and is responsible for daily operations, financial oversight, HUD compliance, staff supervision, and community engagement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Public Administration, Business, Urban Planning, or related field
• 5+ years progressive management experience in public housing or affordable housing
• Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and all aspects of public housing administration including programs and policies
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Employment Terms:
• Full-time position; salary commensurate with experience and HUD guidelines
• Appointment subject to Sullivan County Civil Service requirements
• May require evening meetings and travel
